EMCORE is a leading developer and manufacturer of advanced inertial navigation systems used in aerospace, defense and other mission-critical applications where precision is non-negotiable. Their technologies help guide aircraft, military vehicles, autonomous systems and other platforms operating in the world’s most demanding environments. Today, EMCORE is recognized as one of the industry’s largest independent providers of tactical, navigation and strategic-grade inertial sensing solutions.

OUR APPROACH

In recent years, EMCORE underwent a dramatic business transformation. Through multiple strategic acquisitions and the divestiture of legacy business units, the company evolved into a focused leader in navigation and inertial sensing. While its capabilities had expanded significantly, its brand and digital presence still reflected an earlier chapter of the company. The website had become difficult to navigate, product information was fragmented, and the overall experience no longer communicated the innovation, scale and technical leadership customers expected.

YellowDog partnered with EMCORE to reposition the brand around its new identity—developing a modern website architecture, refreshed visual direction, and content strategy that clearly communicates its technology leadership while making it easier for engineers, defense contractors and OEMs to explore products, applications and technical resources.

Our objective was to create a visual language that feels as precise as the technology itself. We combined a modern aerospace-inspired aesthetic with disciplined typography, modular layouts and bold application imagery to communicate confidence without unnecessary complexity.

TRADE SHOW EXHIBIT

For an upcoming trade show event, EMCORE wanted to showcase the new branding, including the various applications and uses for their technology and products. We implemented the new visual language for a standout booth design. It was also nominated for “Bes in Show” at the conference!
